Hero Me

When It Comes To Cooling
Everybody Deserves A HERO!

We are proud to be the first company licensed to offer the “Hero Me” family of solutions! Upon first getting involved with the Hero Me community we noticed many people routinely asking where they could obtain a printed version. Just to openly share we came across 3 requests in just the first 12 hours we were actively following the support channels.

Bringing an advanced module 3D Printer carriage echo system to the masses. Complete with superior parts cooling solutions and support for nearly 100 printers “Hero Me” simply can not be matched.

What is Hero Me you may ask? Well, Hero Me has grown into an after-market fully modularised replacement carries system for a plethora of 3D Printers. Hero Me helps to solve the challenge of being able to use a very diverse selection of extruders and hot ends on your printer.

PLUS it works very well in addressing the part cooling challenges that so many printers ship with today.

Currently Hero Me is available in 2 lines. Generation 7 and Pro.

Generation 7 is the legacy line we have all come to know and love with the largest selection of hardware choices and diversification. Pro is the new line focusing on more experienced users and High Flow hotend configurations.

Below you will see a full list of hardware options supported by Generation 7, with Pro having a subset of it.

Background/History

Since we have gotten involved we have discovered you either have heard of Hero Me before and know a lot about it or you have never heard of it. For those of you who might like a little history on Hero Me here it is.

In 2018 Marcelino A. Mosquea S. created the first version of the Hero Me fan duct system. Over roughly a 6 month period Marcelino came up with various cooling solutions, which over the next 6 months evolved into the birth of Hero Me. Shortly thereafter Marcelino and his wife had a baby and for personal reasons, he had to step down from the project. At this point, he enthusiastically turned it over to the current project curator Andrew Soderberg with MediaMan3D.

Andrew has worked tirelessly over the last four to five years to bring us Generations 4-6. Andrew then migrated the entire project into Tinkercad where he has maintained it ever since. In 2022 Craig West of ACWest contributed his fan duct system to Generation 7. At the same time Jame Tongue, best known for the Hangtight ducts for the RailCore CoreXY printer platform started the long and incredible process to modularise Hero Me and slowly move it into Fusion 360 where it can properly be managed. Andrew and James were able to phase out more than 100 pieces just in what they have done to date.

Andrew saw the need for improved documentation and realized this was a huge undertaking and in 2022 formed a Patreon to help him better service the Hero Me community. We here this is an extremely successful Patreon and has grown to an average of 2500 members each month. This has allowed Andrew the ability to focus entirely on the Hero Me community and it’s users.

In January of 2023 James introduced us to Andrew and we started the process to provide the first commercially available printed version of Hero Me and the about-to-be-released Hero Me Pro.

This brings us to today.
